Do you struggle with eating healthy and getting back on track when you are super busy or getting back from a vacation? I have struggled with this in the past and I have developed something to help you get back on track without spending too much willpower on it.

When you follow the principles I’m explaining in this article, you will know exactly what to do to eat healthy on autopilot without spending all your time thinking about food. This is the exact strategy I use myself to get by in busy times, and hundreds of my ambitious clients have practiced successfully as well!

Our problem

We tend to overcomplicate things, we create a meal plan that’s too difficult and we overestimate the time and willpower we have.

As humans, we want to fall back on habits. The reason crash diets don't work out in the end (you gain all the weight back so quickly) is because at the end of a crash diet, you fall back on your old habits (because you didn't create any new ones).

When you change your habits step by step and you succeed, you get a positive feedback loop!

Success meals

You want to have ready to go, easy meals that you don’t have to think about.

These are what I call ‘Success meals’.

Success meals are

  • easy to make
  • contain little ingredients
  • aligned with your body and energy goals
  • easy to buy groceries for and have ready on a daily basis

[By the way – if you want to outline your own success meals you can grab your free guide and success template here:]

To recap: success meals are meals you enjoy and they are easy to make.

We want to make it easy, because making it too difficult is where most people go wrong.

Examples of success meals for you:

  • Greek yogurt with fruit for breakfast
  • Chicken with cottage cheese and cherry tomatoes

Getting started with your success meals

So, what do you need to do to get started with your own success meals?

You want a ‘success list’, something ready to go for when you need to get back on track without thinking about it.

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Write down what your success meals are (under 5 ingredients) for each meal type – breakfast, luch, dinner
  2. Write down the ingredients you need
  3. Make sure you always have these ingredients at home!

If you want to get started right now, I created a simple guide for you with a template for your meals. Go to and you can get started right away!
