Leaving your business as the CEO, especially when you’re running a small business, is hard.
However, I still decided to go ahead and take a month off from my business.
I decided to leave my team at the helm of my business for my month of leave.
So, how do I, as a 7-Figure business owner, prep myself and my team for a month of absence?
The first thing I did might also be the most important one and it’s making sure my team feels empowered in their decisions.
- What responsibilities become theirs during my absence?
- I show them I trust and believe in their capabilities
- Whenever they asked me questions during the past weeks, I reflected those back to them and challenged them in finding the answer on their own
That’s step 1 of 5 I made sure to take so my business and team feel confident and secure when I leave.
