How to Stay Motivated During Your Launch and Break Through Paralysis – The FastForwardAmy Show Episode 157

Find out how to make the most of your launches — even if you’ve lost motivation.

Many entrepreneurs start their launches with all of the motivation in the world, but before long, they end up paralyzed by fear. As a result, they either slow down or completely abandon their launch — but if you want to make sales, that’s definitely not the route to take.

Whether you’re launching a new product or service or relaunching an existing offer, you have to continue showing up if you want people to buy.

That requires motivation, which starts with having the right mindset — something I know quite a bit about as someone who has made more than €4 million during launches in the past two years with only two products.

In this article, I’m sharing my best tips for keeping your launch on track. You’ll learn how to handle self-doubt, what to do when it feels like nothing is happening in your launch, and why it’s critical to see your launch through to the very end.

Be enthusiastic about your offer.

Think of it this way: If you’re not genuinely enthusiastic about your offer, why would anyone else feel confident and excited enough to purchase from you?

Enthusiasm is key when you’re launching because you need positive energy to keep you moving forward (make no mistake: launching is a lot of work) and to convey what makes your offer so special. Otherwise, your audience isn’t going to fall in love with it, and they’re not going to buy it.

Even when you’re relaunching, you should still be excited about your offer — and if not, it’s time to go back to the drawing board and see what enhancements or changes you can make so you truly believe in what you’re selling.

However, even the most unbridled enthusiasm can’t compensate for nonexistent or lacking sales skills, so if you’re still struggling to close leads, check out my Close Your Sales Masterclass. In just two hours, I will teach you how to close more sales by handling your clients with better sales principles and techniques, building trust with your client, and converting your public to paying customers!

Sell from a place of service.

Consistently remind yourself why you’re putting your offer out in the world. Chances are it’s something that will make someone else’s life better, and if that’s the case, you owe it to your audience to tell them about it.

This mindset shift can help you let go of the feeling of being annoying or pushy during a launch because it takes the focus off of you and puts it on your offer. You’re not asking your followers to pay attention to you; instead, you’re trying to connect them with something they may want or need.

The takeaway: It is your duty to sell, and to not sell is a disservice to every single person who could benefit from your offer. Keep your potential clients at the forefront of your mind during your launch and remember that if you’re not marketing your product or service, no one can access it and reap the rewards.

Let go of perfectionism.

It’s common to get paralyzed by the pursuit of perfection during a launch, but here’s the truth: Done is always better than perfect.

Plus, I know from experience that being perfect isn’t required to be successful. I made $1 million in a launch without any strategy simply because I continued to show up and sell, and I was confident. I loved my offer and it showed, so people couldn’t wait to get their hands on it.

My current launch for The Launch Gamebook won’t be perfect either. But it doesn’t matter because I am so excited to tell the world about it — I know it will help people make more money and enjoy their launches far more than they ever have, and that’s what is important.

The Launch Gamebook course contains everything I’ve learned and implemented from my previous launches (including my five-phase launch blueprint) and will teach you the launch mindset, how to plan your content, and much more. This course is a highly valuable resource that could make all the difference in your next launch — all you have to do is click the link to register!

Remember that more people are watching than you think.

You may feel as though you’ve oversold your offer and people are getting tired of hearing about it, but that’s probably not the case.

Even if you think you’ve mentioned your offer 1,000 times, keep going — there are almost certainly people watching who are interested but just haven’t bought yet. They’re waiting for you to convince them to make the purchase, and that’s not going to happen if you stop showing up.

This is also why you should never give up before the end of your launch. In my previous launches, I made around 20% of my sales on the very last day my offer was available — all because I kept going and didn’t let myself get discouraged.

Unless people are super fans, they are unlikely to buy from you right away. Trust that people are watching and are interested in your product or service, and keep selling.

Don’t let your fears hold you back.

No matter how big and loud they are, you cannot allow your fears to run your launch — because if you do, they’ll run it right into the ground.

To keep your fears in check, I recommend turning off your phone and eliminating other distractions, sitting down with a piece of paper and a pen, and writing until you determine the root of your fear. You may think you’re scared of losing email subscribers or Instagram followers, for example, but that’s surface-level. Once you get in touch with your emotions and discover what’s actually going on and paralyzing you, you can overcome your fears.

Remember: Success isn’t about not being afraid – it’s about being afraid and doing it anyway. That’s how you make progress and reach your goals.

I have a special gift for you to help you move past your fears and believe in yourself so you can reach new heights.
