I got back from LA this weekend (very jetlagged!), and my mind just feels expanded after 2.5 weeks of soaking up other people's smarts and getting inspired.
As promised, you're getting another update of the insights I got out of my trip!
🎙️ This Week's Episode: “Playing a Bigger Game: Top 3 Mindset Insights from LA Part II”🎙️
Have you ever found yourself looking at your goals, only to realize 6 months ago you had the same goals… and not much has changed because you didn't get around to implementing your plans?
I've been there too, and my recent trip to LA helped me confront the biggest obstacle standing in my way: my own mindset.
Today I'm sharing how I broke free of some of my own self-doubt that was keeping me small.
My quote of the week for you, something I enjoyed doing a lot these past few weeks:
“If you’re the smartest person in the room, you gotta get yourself to a bigger room.”
By the way: that does not mean I am not surrounded by amazingly inspiring people on a daily basis. I love working with my team, I adore my clients, and my family and friends are the absolute best. And on top of that… I also enjoy being surrounded by people who bring me new perspectives in an ‘uncomfortable' zone.
People who challenge me maybe even BECAUSE they love me a little less, and are brutally honest haha.
It's okay if you want a fresh and new perspective from people who have been where you want to go. That's one of the biggest powers of coaching and mentorship.
PS In case you missed it, in last week's episode I shared some invaluable tips on mastering productivity during a workation. If you haven't already, give LA Update: Part I How I'm prioritizing strategic work with a busy workload a listen.
Here's to embracing growth, pushing boundaries, and playing a bigger game in every aspect of our lives!
