Money Hat Challenge: Triple Your Sales – The FastForwardAmy Show Episode 158

November 22, 2022 By fastforwardamy Leave a Comment

Are you ready for a challenge that will triple your sales?

This week, we have a special episode where I challenge you with the Money Hat Challenge. I’ve seen this challenge succeed immensely over the summer at my free business school where I taught people to achieve financial independence.

I believe in teaching people what we should be learning at school — how to do your taxes, etc. — and helping people make money successfully in a way that also changes their whole life. With all that’s going on in the world right now, the current economic crisis, I think it is more important than ever to take control of our finances.

In that spirit, my team and I came up with The Money Hat Challenge. This time, we’re serving it up with a twist.

Welcome to the Money Hat Challenge.

Right now, there’s a lot of negative news. People are afraid of money more than ever before.

My clients, my coaches, they are all talking about how sick they are of rising prices and talking about the economy. People are becoming afraid to spend money.

We don’t want people to stop spending, so we need to be extra focused on selling.

We all have our worries with money. It could be paying your team's wages, or buying your kids school books. Whether you’re an employee, employer, housewife, or whatever you are, I want to share a few insights into how you can fix the money stress we’re all experiencing.

How to separate yourself from money worries:

The media, conversations with friends, almost everybody is talking about the scarcity of money and resources around the world right now. The first step to maintaining growth in today’s world is to not talk about that scarcity.

Try to stay focused on your business. Don’t listen to news that constantly makes you sad or stresses you out about money. If you have friends who are constantly whining about the news then ask them to switch subjects to something happier.

A great question to learn to ask is ‘hey, do you want me to listen or do you want me to give advice?’.

Despite your mindset, it’s very hard to be surrounded by people who aren’t where you are in terms of money (or your mindset!). By asking them this question, you’re making them think about why they’re dumping these things on you.

Do they want advice? Do they want to be told they’re doing a good job? If they want advice, you can share what you’ve learnt by getting to where you are and this helps you feel better too.

Money as a concept.

I understand that financial struggles are extremely difficult. Sometimes, it can help to try and alter your mindset towards money itself.

It’s important to remember that money originated as a concept. In order to trade fairly, there needed to be a universal currency. Fast forward to today, and we have money — both physical and digital — to help us trade goods and services.

Money is not a real thing — money is a tool, money can always be made. Money is a form of energy. You can attract more and create more to make it go around. But you have to understand that in order to do it successfully.

If you feel your audience doesn’t have the money they need to buy what you’re selling, it’s time to find a new audience who do.

The Money Hat Challenge: how do I do it?

The original Money Hat Challenge was to make 100 euros within 24 hours. This is what we’ll call the first version. You could do that anyway you like, in any profession.

The second version of this challenge will be for people who are currently launching, selling, and really going hard at their business.

So, the first version meant making 100 euro within 24 hours of listening to this episode. It could be by selling, canceling subscriptions and saving that money, selling some things you have, whatever. Maybe you have some extra time next week to take an extra booking, or you never launched something you wrote and you should do it now quickly and make some quick money.

Basically, I created this challenge to show you that you can make some extra money quickly and it can be fun to challenge yourself to do it.

The Money Hat Challenge: today’s new edition.

As I mentioned, today we have come up with a second edition of this challenge to help those who are launching or more sales focused. With Black Friday coming up, this challenge is even more important.

Often with my clients — and they hate me for this — they do a successful launch and are really happy to have sold 10 units, for example. I turn to them and tell them ‘now triple it’.

They usually think they can’t do it, but after a successful launch it isn’t time to chill. Massive sales and income don’t come from one sale — it comes from all the tiny sales.

If you challenge yourself to triple your sales, you’ll ask yourself ‘how can I do a little bit more?’. You’re going to break through that thought ceiling.

That is what I call your action ceiling. Don’t be limited by what you know — I want to challenge your thinking by getting you to think about what other stuff you could do instead of always doing the same things.

Maybe it’s more emails, maybe you could start to send some different ones out. Maybe go live, have affiliates, discounts, bundles, whatever you need.

What I want you to do.

You need to know you can always make more money. Today, I want you to triple your sales.

When you make a sale, celebrate, then think about what Amy wants you to do next. Back to the drawing board, triple it, pitch it again, pitch it again, go live again, send more emails. Do everything more.

If you’re launching, send more than one email. Go big and get those sales.

So, I want you to go and try either edition of this challenge: make 100 euro in 24 hours or triple your sales. I want you to tag me and tag the Money Hat Challenge on Instagram and show me what you’re doing. How did you magically make more money thanks to this episode?

If you’ve got a Christmas sale coming up, or a Black Friday sale, it’s time to triple those sales.

Tell your friends, get them involved, forward this episode and let’s focus on abundance and not scarcity!
